Enfield Council as Local Planning Authority undertakes consultation when it receives a planning application. Those in the immediate vicinity of a scheme that is the subject of a planning application are normally notified. Consultation on a planning application is a statutory part of the Local Planning Authority’s assessment process.  During the Meridian Water build programme there will be numerous planning applications that we want you to comment on.  To see if there are any live planning consultations please visit here and search for “Meridian Water” in the text box at the bottom.

Outside of and in addition to the process of statutory consultation on planning applications, there will also be a number of consultations and engagement events taking place over the next few years organised by the Meridian Water Team about what you would like to see at Meridian Water which will appear on this page. Consultations will cover themes such as housing, transport, open spaces, community facilities, health provision, commercial spaces and much more.

Meridian Water planning applications and consultations will be promoted through the Twitter account @MeridianWater and will often appear on the Meridian Water digital newsletter. Visit here to sign up.
