The purpose of this grant is to support not-for-profit groups or organisations to deliver a community benefit in 1 or all 3 of the Edmonton Wards (Lower Edmonton, Upper Edmonton, Edmonton Green). This benefit should fall within the following categories:

The application and all supporting documentation needs to be submitted online via the webform link below by 17:00 on Wednesday 31st December 2025. Please note late applications will not be accepted.
The assessment process will take place across January and February 2026, all applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by the end of February 2026.
Please note that funding is limited and every application will be considered on its individual merits, in addition successful applicants may not receive the full amount requested so please think about how you will complete your project if you do not receive the full amount.
Where bids are successful, applicants will need to keep us informed about the progress of their project once the funding has been made available. Successful bids will be published by the Council with projects tracked through their lifespan and further promotion and Public Relations undertaken. A monitoring and reporting schedule will be set out in full in the grant agreement for successful applicants.

Please note, all successful applicants will be required to promote the project and acknowledge the Councils funding. This must be included in the promotion of their project and their work including photos or physical outputs.
Please note that there is no appeal process and the decision of the panel is final.

A panel comprised of London Borough of Enfield Staff and elected members will assess and approve the applications. And all work must be completed and payments made by the end of December 2026. |

Community groups can apply for funding from the new Meridian Water Community Chest, funded by contributions from Meridian Water developers, contractors and consultants to deliver projects benefitting local residents.
