Enfield Construction Skills Academy

Helping local people get jobs in construction

Delivered through a partnership By Enfield Council, Capital City College Group and Countryside Partnerships.

The Academy aims to train almost 500 people a year through a range of apprenticeships and courses, creating pathways to higher skillsets for local people. Learners participating in the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) training will have an opportunity to be put forward for the CSCS test and on passing, apply for their CSCS card.

Training Options include:

  • Construction workers
  • Bricklayers
  • Electricians
  • Plumbers
  • Carpenters
  • Painters and decorators
  • Surveyors
  • Estates and facilities workers

When you join the Academy, you get access to:

  • Onsite training and paid work experience
  • Pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship opportunities
  • Mentoring
  • Skills development

The Academy has three buildings

The Main Building | Wet Trades Practical Workspace | Dry Trades Practical Workspace

Learners can look forward to designated heated practical workspaces complete with a wide range of hand and power tools for each of the courses on offer. The main building will include three classrooms, an ICT suite, a canteen area where learners can relax and meet other students, as well as showers and changing facilities.
